'Overpriced' hospital: Hello MACC? Anybody there?

your say 'When a police report is lodged against an opposition politician, the speed of the response is breathtakingly fast. When a report is made against any BN politician, the response is breathtakingly slow.'

PWD silent on 'overpriced' hospital

Chang Wei Terk: Keeping mum has become a standard response to scandals by the government. They kept quiet when private investigator P Balasubramaniam surfaced to make more allegations.

When questions were raised on why only small fish were charged in the PKFZ scandal, they did the same. Not forgetting the stolen jet engines. Did they come out to explain when the allegations were made regarding the Umno-owned PWTC ?

These people have become so arrogant that they don't care what people think of them. They know that the arm of the law could not reach them. Let them be reminded that they will have to answer for their actions before their Maker when the day comes.

Chee Hoe Siew: Even the Selangor royalty is involved? Surely there is no end to such corrupt practices as long as BN is in charge. Judging from the way the PWD (Public Works Department) handle the questions posted by the public and media, I can sense a high level of incompetency in their work.

Habib RAK: Daulat Tuanku Selangor, with all due respect, I wish to pose this question for Tuanku's reply. Tuanku had deemed it necessary to respond immediately in the matter of using Allah's name by non-Muslims.

In the matter of the exorbitant hospital price of RM500 million in which the Selangor royal family is allegedly involved, why is Tuanku not making any specific statements? Isn't the issue of abuse and corruption a big sin ( dosa besar ) that Allah frowns on? Thus, when Tuanku is quick on the ‘Allah' matter, why is there procrastination on abuse in the corruption matter?

This concern had already been highlighted to the public several months ago. The public is awaiting Tuanku's titah (command).

Traj: It seems that our esteemed families of high descent are getting their fingers into the pie. I suppose this has been going on for ages. It's only through alternative media that we get to know this now. Do you see any reports in our BN-controlled media? We must continue to support the alternative media so that more of this misdeeds by the privileged families are exposed - Gamuda in Perak and hospital in Shah Alam.

The aggressive stance against RPK (Raja Petra Kamarudin) is now understood. These families fail to understand that as long as they are under the thumbs of the corrupt BN, their days may be numbered. They will always be manipulated by BN. Their only hope for survival is for them not only be seen to be clean, but are also clean and unbiased.

Bapak Toyol: Where is the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC)? Sleeping? Or are there instructions not to investigate? Better close down. Umno will lead the country to bankruptcy.

Perak Boleh: So what else is new? With greedy politician and incompetent civil servants plundering taxpayers' money, I wonder when Malaysia will be bankrupted. MACC, this job is too big for you. Only individuals who allegedly misused a few thousand ringgit are your target. BN politicians, royalty and civil servants are all above the law.

Amaso: Let's wait for the auditor-general's report... If nothing is done to correct the situation, vote wisely at the 13 th general election to ensure our hard-earned money as taxpayers are honestly spent for the people's benefits instead of being siphoned off by corrupted politicians and businessmen.

Dood: Like the sign in the picture says, this is a ‘Projek Kerajaan Barisan Nasional'...

Kgan: Another BN project, another corruption scandal. The normal price for a hospital is RM1 million per bed so RM300 million for a 300-bed hospital is about right. This means RM200 million of public money is intended to be siphoned off.

When will all this bleeding end? After the 13 th general election when BN is kicked out? I fear we will end up as the Zimbabwe of the East - a promising nation reduced to ruins, exporting maids and labourers to our neighbours while our factories manufacture slogans instead of goods.

Lim Chong Leong: Is the MACC still investigating Nik Aziz Nik Mat's 10kg cake? Or Khalid Ibrahim's cows?

Cops quiz exco on 'abuse' of Tamil school funds

Budak: How come the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP) are so efficient on Pakatan Rakyat elected representatives and matters related to Selangor Pakatan government? Because the RMP office in Selangor is nearer to the Pakatan government office? And because Pakatan MPs are more accommodating than Barisan MPs.

Doc: When a police report is lodged against an opposition politician, the speed of the response is breathtakingly fast. When a police report is made against any BN politician, the response is breathtakingly slow.

Tan Hong Kiet: Regardless of whether the state assemblyperson is from BN or Pakatan, he should face the music if he has indulged in corruption. If the allegation proves true, then he should resign immediately.

Nedunchelian Vengu: What happened to the allocations wiped out by the BN representatives within just two months before the general election in 2008?

Selian: And what happened to Mohd Khir Toyo and his (RM3.5 million) mansion?
