A paramedic found Aminulrasyid Amzah's body in a strange position, with the top half of his torso and leg outside the vehicle, while his head was face down on the driver's seat.

NONE “I saw the door on the driver’s side ajar and the body sprawling on the ground, but the head of the victim was lying face down on the driver’s seat,” paramedic Muhammad Sahid Abdul Karim ( right ) told the Shah Alam Sessions Court today.

The witness  said he was wearing gloves and noticed that there was blood on them.

“I had touched the victim’s forehead prior to this,” he said, adding the victim was wearing shorts and a T-shirt.

Answering questions from DPP Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar, Muhamad Sahid said that he managed to examine the back of Aminulrasyid’s body and found no injuries.

But when he tried to examine the deceased’s forehead, he was stopped by the police.

Following this, the witnesses said he tried to find out from the police personnel present on what had happened and whether the body had been moved.

azlan “However, I was told to wait until the investigating officer to arrive... From what I saw, the body is that of a youth. After checking the pulse twice, I confirmed that he had died.

“I told this to the policemen and left the scene without bringing the victim,” he said.

Muhammad Sahid, who is attached to the Klang Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, said he arrived at the crime scene at Jalan Makyong 11/2G, Shah Alam at about 2.22am on April 26, 2010, after being alerted over the matter at about 2.02am

He said he was called in over a car that had lost control and slammed into a tree.

Outside the court, the family’s lawyer Sangeet Kaur Deo, appearing for Karpal Singh, said it was strange that Aminulrasyid’s body was found in the position by the paramedic.

NONE She agreed to suggestions that if the driver’s door was opened the head or body may have been out of the car.

Aminulrasyid’s friend Azamuddin Omar ( right ), had in a press conference revealed that the victim’s head was lying on his lap, after they were shot at.

The paramedic was testifying in the trial of Corporal Jenain Subi, 48, who is charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder murder of  15-year-old Aminulrasyid, at Jalan Tarian 11/2 , Section 11, between 1.10am and 2am on on April 26.

Accused given 100 bullets

Earlier, a sergeant from the Shah Alam district police headquarters told the court that normally each policemen on patrol duty would be given 100 9mm bullets for their Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine gun.

The witness said policemen are required to bring four magazines with 25 bullets in each magazine.

NONE Sergeant Jamaluddin Alias ( left ), who was in charge of scheduling patrol duties on the night Aminulrasyid was killed, said all officers including the accused attended a half-hour briefing before they were dispatched.

“The accused Jenain Subi, along with his partner Constable Mohd Hafidz Mohd Yusoff attended the briefing,” he said.

“All of them are required to bear arms,” said Jamaluddin.

The witness however stopped short of mentioning what the patrol officers were briefed on or whether they were reminded on the Inspector-General’s Standing orders (IGSO).

Sergeant Jamaluddin said that Jenain and his partner Constable Mohamad Hafidz Mohd Yusof, were entrusted in patrolling sector 6 which covers areas in Section 5, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14.

The sergeant said that Jenain to be a responsible person and that the accused does not possess any disciplinary record.

If found guilty, Jenain could face a maximum 30 years jail and a fine.

Jenain is represented by counsel Salim Bashir and M Athimulun.

The sudden death of the teenager had caused a nationwide outroar over the use of firearms on individuals and resulted in the Home Ministry to presently review Inspector-General Standing Orders (IGSO) on using firearms.

A special panel was formed headed by the Deputy Home Minister Abu Seman Yusop to also investigate the incident.
