Sounds unbelievable. Or have these two characters in their possession thick files on leading Umnoputras regarding their corrupt acts and skeletons best kept in the cupboard?

Kinda of like "You don't expose me, I don't expose you" or put it in politically correct terms, "You help me, I help you".

We must remember both Azmin and Anwar were from Umno where corruption is, and still is, the staple diet.

These two are no angels and to believe otherwise is just being foolhardy. DAP and PAS together are a good check and balance to PKR, where many of them are ex-Umno members.

Now let us see whether MACC is going to take any action against Azmin and Anwar after the police report. We still want to change the government though come GE13.

Anonymous #14329559: Why is the royalty above criticism? Freedom of speech is a right of every citizen. Look at the British monarchy, which has survived so much bad press.

Do we see them getting all defensive and uptight and throwing their weight around? No.

They improve on their image and earn the respect of the nation. Malaysian royalty should do likewise. Respect, unfortunately, does have to be earned. It hardly comes hand in hand with a title.

Skeat: I like Nizar, but sadly I disagree with him on this. The sultan can buy anything with his own money, as long as he is not using the state's money for his own pleasure.

What does the sultan owe Pakatan that he has to explain to them? Nothing - as long as the royalty is not abusing the government's money to buy those things.

Quigonbond: I don't see why Nizar needs to apologise. One should not be prevented from asking basic questions like where the rulers obtain their personal wealth from in the first place, and whether in all good sense, they should demonstrate restraint, given Malaysians in general are going through economically difficult times.

Anonymouse: Come on, I'm sure the less fortunate will not miss the aid. After all, that plate is especially meaningful if you think about it: WWW1 = ‘Why We Waste', or ‘We Won't Win 1' (a BN favourite).
