Disciplinary action will be taken against PKR members who are found to be involved in the online campaign against the Selangor Menteri Besar's political secretary Faekah Husin, party vice-president Tian Chua had warned.

He told Malay daily Sinar Harian that the party has never launched any anti-Faekah campaign .

"This is the plan of an irresponsible group to weaken PKR," Tian Chua is was quoted as saying in the report today.

NONE The Batu MP also dismissed allegations that more PKR members would quit the party if Faekah remains with the Selangor Menteri Besar's Office.

PKR disciplinary panel head Tan Kee Kwong told Malaysiakini that the panel has started its investigation into the controversy.

"The party is checking on the identities (of those behind the anti-Faekah campaign). So far nothing has reached me yet," Tan said when contacted today.

Seen as the latest episode of factionalism between Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim and PKR deputy president Azmin Ali, the anti-Faekah campaign has been going on for three weeks despite calls for a truce from party leaders.

The anti-Faekah group. calling itself Kami Sayangkan PKR (We Love PKR) has been attacking Faekah thorugh Twitter account @PecatFaekah (Sack Faekah), which appears to be run by the same group of people behind the Azmin Ali Club.

They are particularly sore about disbursements under Geran Selangorku, a development programme for the people of Selangor managed by Menteri Besar Incorporated, and have claimed that the grants are controlled by Faekah.

Azmin has denied involvement in the campaign and pledged his support for Khalid.
