What exactly are Mukhriz's leadership qualities?

YOURSAY ‘His record is pathetic. Kedahans, please dump him. A guy born with a silver spoon in his mouth is not our cup of tea.'

Mukhriz as MB can sway fence-sitters, survey finds

your say Mushiro: What are Jerlun MP Mukhriz Mahathir's leadership qualities? He does not speak well, dare not debate, depends on his father to speak on his behalf and to campaign for him.

He even lost to Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin in the Umno Youth chief contest but was pushed up to be deputy minister. Is this Umno's criteria for a good leader?

Rick Teo: If not for his father pulling strings here and there, Mukhriz would be hard-pressed even to be a peon in my office. Since his DNA is from Dr Mahathir Mohamad, he cannot be too smart given that his father is a scoundrel.

Faz: Talent, professionalism and leadership are not hereditary, thank God. If not, there is no way for us to get rid of these leaders.

Former PM Mahathir Mohamad used to be a name to be proud of until he turned around and became a robber baron with his unaccounted richness, as alleged.

So, no amount of appeasement from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) professor will elevate Mukhriz to the "leadership qualities" mentioned, because he has none and hides behind Mahathir for everything.

His record is pathetic. Kedahans, please dump him. A guy born with a silver spoon in his mouth is not our cup of tea. A clear example is Najib, he is a terrible leader with little conscience.

Wira: Would you be a teetotaler if your family brews beer? Would you be clean if your family became super rich during the time your father was a PM? Won't you be dirty if you were given power?

Ferdtan: According to UKM political scientist Samsu Adabi Mamat, Mukhriz is very popular among the electorate and has a professional image.

Where did he find that out? Luckily in not making a bigger fool of himself, he added quickly that having a father by the name of Mahathir helps.

Mukhriz is no leader. He is not capable and we see how he always echoes his father's statements and sentiments in public.

In spite of his father's help in the last Umno party election, he lost to Khairy together with the ex-Selangor MB Mohd Khir Toyo as the Umno Youth chief.

The moment the octogenarian Mahathir is gone, Mukhriz (or the Mahathir dynasty) will be finished.

That is why the very old Mahathir is in overdrive to put his legacy in place that will be difficult for others to destroy. When the tsunami hits the shore, even Mahathir cannot stop it.

Anonymous$&@?: He (Mukhriz) can't even beat Khairy for the Umno Youth chief's post and was given a cabinet post just because Mahathir has a dossier on Najib Razak's past black history.

It looks like this so-called UKM professor is a mouthpiece for Mahathir to voice his intentions. If this professor is worth his two sen, then please put your survey questions online for all to see so that we the rakyat can analyse if your survey questions has been skewed or biased to favour Mukhriz.

If this professor chickens out, then we know that the survey is another half-cooked project that is tainted with political rubbish.

Holden: There are too many unanswered questions about Mukhriz's family wealth. And add in the liability of having a loud-mouth father. What exactly qualifies Mukhriz as leadership material?

Anonymous #42582403: Kedah will build a San Miguel brewery with his father as an adviser. And Kedahans will get duty free beer and petrol from Petron.

KSC: I don't trust our local universities any more. They come up with rather incredulous statements and analyses. How did the rakyat figure out that Mukhriz has better leadership qualities?

From his performance so far, he has made several blunders and silly statements, definitely not like his other brother. And if you think he has inherited his father's qualities, you should look at the current PM and home minister.

Fair&Just: When seeing the face of a hyena, there is the fear that its jaws will snap at you. When seeing the face of a spawn of Satan, there is the fear of committing cruelty, corruption, evils, bigotry and crimes. It's all in the genes.

Anonymous #85701391: Mukhriz could just walk in and take the menteri besar (MB) of Kedah's post. All he needs to do is tell all Kedah voters the amount of money he could bring back into the country for use in Kedah's development.

Such as maybe the Kedah twin towers or a marine hub for tuna fishing and processing. And all these money will be flown in by private jets, enough to keep the Alor Setar airport very busy in the next five years.
