Federal Territories Minister Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor today advised the organiser of a gathering planned at Padang Merbok on June 15 to not go ahead with the plan as the location is not suitable.

Regarding the place as "too open" and could cause congestion, he suggested  the organiser to look for another location if they still wanted to hold the gathering.

azlan "To me, Padang Merbok is an open place and we cannot let them hold the gathering there. We have laws, so they have to abide by them by choosing another place.

"If they want Merdeka Stadium or the Bukit Jalil Stadium, just let the owners know," he told reporters after opening the ministry's Client's Day in Kuala Lumpur today.

He was commenting on the ‘Black 505' gathering being planned by the opposition. Padang Merbok comes under the jurisdiction of the Kuala Lumpur City Hall.
