The Shah Alam Syariah High Court has issued an arrest warrant for Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris, who operates the controversial Papagomo blog.

Syariah judge Mohammad Adib Husain made the decision after allowing the application filed by Wan Muhammad’s ex-wife Bellina Omar Sharifuddin Chin that a warrant be issued following the plaintiff’s failure to be present in court.

According to Berita Harian , Wan Muhammad is embroiled in a court case with his ex-wife for transgressing matters pertaining to the custody of the couple’s two daughters.

On Sept 2, the court had ordered the blogger to return the two girls, aged four and two, to his ex-wife, but Wan Muhammad has refused.
