MH370 DAP's Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng today called on Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to appoint just one spokesperson to deal with the international media on the missing Flight MH370 crisis so that Malaysia will stop being "embarrassed" under the international watch.

Contradictory statements from many ministers and officers has led to severe criticism of Malaysia's handling of the crisis, with the plane yet to be found six days after it went missing en route to Beijing.

Lim said that the different versions of events and circumstances surrounding the plane were causing more distress to the family members of those who were on board the Boeing 777 flight, which disappeared from the radar about 1.30am on March 8, off the Vietnamese coast.

Among the contradictions were on the number of people of the flight who were using stolen passports, those who checked in but did not board the flight and the exact location of the plane before it went missing,
