Bickering within Pakatan show no signs of ebbing with PKR Wanita chief Zuraida Kamaruddin now seeking an apology from PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang.

Zuraida said Hadi should say sorry to PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail “for the love of PAS members and unity of Pakatan Rakyat members”.

“Even though Haji Hadi had said hurtful things towards Dato Seri Wan Azizah, it is all in the past and we should close ranks and move forward again.

“We hope that Haji Hadi will apologise for all the unpleasant accusations hurled at our party president,” she said.

Hadi had earlier said he does not support Wan Azizah as MB not because she is a woman but because she is incompetent.

Wan Azizah, who was then nominated by her party to replace Abdul Khalid Ibrahim as Selangor MB, said the remark had “hurt” her feelings.

This is Zuraida’s ( left ) second lambast against PAS, after the conclusion of the MB crisis which saw the appointment of PKR deputy president Azmin Ali to the post.

Yesterday, she urged Azmin to reduce the number of state executive council (exco) members from PAS, purportedly because PAS had not supported PKR during the crisis.

PAS’ four representatives on the exco had remained on the council until Khalid’s last day – a move they say was to avert the collapse of the government, prompting snap polls.

The PAS four were also accused of being traitors by the DAP, for refusing to resign in solidarity with the PKR and DAP exco colleagues who were sacked by Khalid.
