So why are Saiful backers covering their faces?

YOURSAY ‘RM60 per day is a pretty low reward for totally debasing yourself.’

Saiful backers want justice, deny being paid

P Dev Anand Pillai: For the ruling coalition, money and nothing but money is the answer to everything that bothers them.

From time immemorial, the ruling coalition has always gathered crowds of supporters by inducement. Malaysians with nothing better to do being the people that they are will surely jump at a chance for some pocket money and an avenue to let off some pent-up frustration.

So it’s really a far-fetched story that these people are there out of their own pockets.

Fateh: It is cheap to pay these bunch of naive people. Just give them some crumbs and they will do anything you ask of them. This country has sunk to its lowest level in the past few years.

The Analyser: RM60 per day is a pretty low reward for totally debasing yourself. But I guess the T-shirts will increase in value when Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan becomes a national hero.

SanctusSanctusSanctus: If they are paid, they truly deserve the money. Notice they are all trying to hide their faces.

MinahBulat: You believe these people are not paid? Of course they are not paid, but who will print T-shirts, provide buses, prepare posters and line up on a working day to support Saiful for free?

Come on, one packet of nasi bungkus, one bottle of water and RM60 from the mysterious NGO will do the trick.

Anonymous #19098644: Has anybody asked how the dropout without a job can get married, have a kid and maintain a family in style without having a proper job like the rest of the hardworking Malaysians?

All these Mat Rempit purportedly demanding justice, what jobs do they have? How do they live other than being on the payroll of corrupt politicians?

2Kali5: So these guys want justice. Please look at the law under which Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim is charged and prosecuted.

He is charged under a section for a consensual sexual act against nature. If justice is to be done, shouldn't both parties to the consensual sex be equally punished?

ConstitutionIsSupreme: I thought only the pro opposition rakyat covered their identity out of fear of being bullied by Perkasa, Isma and Umno-BN. As I know that Saiful has the support of Umno-BN, why should they want to hide their identity?

Could it be that they are worried of being ridiculed by their friends/peers when identified in the news?

Real Truth: If they are not paid goons by Umno which is filthy rich, how come they never came for Mongolian translator Altantuya Shaariibuu and political aide Teoh Beng Hock, where a great injustice happened?

Why no protest for them? Anwar was charged with consensual sex in which both parties were involved. So go make noise.

Blackmoon: Salute to all these Saiful supporters. You are very civilised in the way you show your support to the victim of this case.

The supporters of the criminal acted like hooligans towards the police, pelting them with eggs and pushing and shoving the barricades in front of the courts. Keep it up.

Continue The March: Saiful is being Saiful and if you want to cheat, at least cheat "smartly". Who would go and meet the then-deputy prime minister before been sodomised? Who are you to be able to meet him so easily?

Of course, the then-DPM did not realise his meeting with Saiful was leaked. As the saying goes, God is watching you. Your day of reckoning is coming real soon.

Fairnessforall: If they claim that they were not paid and were there because they wanted justice, then the only other possible explanation is that they are too stupid and dumb as only people who are stupid and dumb will not be able to realise from all the evidence that this is all a set-up and Anwar is being framed.

The fact that these idiotic clowns are not able to see that Saiful went to meet Najib personally and he also met with an inspector in a hotel room before the alleged incident and many other evidence which clearly shows it is a set-up.

So these idiotic clowns can decide whether they were paid to attend or whether they are just plain stupid dumb fools.

Maplesyrup: The NGO that paid for the bus should step forward and formally state their support for Saiful. From the way he described it, it was a consensual act   so what justice are they talking about?

If they really believe in justice they should support Anwar after all, as why was Saiful not charged? In conclusion, this bunch of 'supporters' is there to support Saiful surely, but please drop the 'justice' bit.

Damntlwbn: Yesterday they paid RM60 and managed to get 100 people for Saiful. Today they are paying RM100 so the size of the crowd doubles, to 200. .
