Former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s justification of Perkasa president Ibrahim Ali’s call to burn the Bible is invalid, says Sabah Umno deputy chief Salleh Said Keruak.

When Muslims burn old copies of the Quran, Mahathir said yesterday, it is done as a mark of respect so that the Quran would not be thrown out like garbage.
