The atmosphere at the Palace of Justice today was also not short of being festive, with a quiz game related to opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim's Sodomy II case being held.

Supporters who answered correctly even received prizes in the form of hampers.

Cartoonist Zulkiflee Anwar Haque, better known as Zunar, acted as the "judge", wearing a black robe, complete with a white wig and gavel.

Among the questions were, who are the judges hearing the case, as well as the brand and size of sodomy complainant Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan's underwear.

The underwear was one of the items tendered as evidence in the case.

Anwar’s supporters seemed to enjoy taking part in the quiz stunt.

The organisers asked five questions and said it will be continued later in the afternoon.

Anwar attacked for not taking oath

As this was going on, about 30 supporters of Saiful cheered and shouted chants such as “catch Anwar” and “Anwar is a sodomite”.

They also played a recording of a religious talk by popular preacher Azhar Idrus through the speakers.

The one-minute lecture was on ‘muhabalah’, the Arabic term for taking an oath, invoking God’s name to tell the truth.

Saiful’s supporters then shouted ‘muhabalah’, saying that Anwar was a coward for not taking the oath.

Supporters of both camps then ceased their activities for the zuhur (early afternoon) prayers.
