Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's frequently-asked-questions (FAQ) list has not satisfied former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamed.

"He didn't answer anything. I am doing this because I know he will lose in the (next) election," he said today after launching the second volume of his book 'Selected Letters to World Leaders' in Putrajaya today.

He said issues such as the murder of Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu and the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) controversy were also not addressed in the blog

"This (Altantuya) may be an old case but the death sentence (for its perpetrators) is recent. That's why I raised it.

"He asked to wait for the full audit report (of 1MDB), but that is not an answer. Anyone can ask to wait, but wait until when?" he added.

In his blog entry yesterday, Najib published an FAQ addressing 13 issues including the Altantuya murder and 1MDB.

Meanwhile, when asked if he is still keen on debating Najib following the publication of the FAQ, Mahathir said he has no issues doing so.

He said if a debate is held, he only wants to pose questions for Najib to answer.

"If he wants to debate, can. No problem. I just want to ask and if he wants to answer, then answer.

"If he (Najib) wants to ask me anything, I can answer," he said.

On Saturday, Mahathir was asked during a public forum if he would debate Najib openly, to which he answered in the positive.
