The police are now questioning MACC director (special operations) Bahri Mohamad Zin at his office in Putrajaya.
It is believed this is related to the leak of 1MDB investigations.
Three police officers from the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department arrived at the MACC headquarters at 2.45pm while Bahri arrived at 3.10pm .
About 30 journalists present have been ordered to wait outside the MACC headquarters.
Previously, police arrested three people in relation to the case.
These were former MACC adviser Rashpal Singh, Attoner-General's Chambers officer Jessica Gurmeet Kaur and (MACC) deputy public prosecutor Ahmad Sazilee Abdul Khairy.
All three have since been released.
