Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) deputy commissioner (operations) Shukri Abdull has returned to Malaysia after attending a course overseas.

Met at the KL International Airport (KLIA) upon his return from the United States tonight, Shukri had little to say to the reporters waiting for him, except to repeatedly thank them.

“Thank you. Thank you. Later I will see you. It is not safe here. Let me settle first,” he said, as reporters chased him and pressed for his response to the transfer of two of his officers on Friday last week.
