PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli borrowed lyrics from a popular Malay pop-rap song in his search for Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak who have gone missing from explaining the RM2.6 billion in his personal bank accounts in Parliament.

Taking to Facebook, Rafizi posted a picture of Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi explaining the matter on behalf of the prime minister in Parliament yesterday with silhouette cut-out of Najib at the premier's empty seat.

On the silhouette was the 1MDB logo and the words "Awak kat mana, awak awak kat mana" (where are you), which is the catchy lyrics by Singapore singer Taufik Batisah.

The song, which was first uploaded on Youtube in October last year, has generated more than six million views.

"Yesterday, the whole of Malaysia awaited the Bugis warrior Najib to explain the RM2.6 billion donation in Parliament just as he promised.

"Unfortunately, the Bugis warrior hid behind the deputy prime minister who only explained the issue for three minutes.

"We still do not know who is the RM2.6 billion donor.

"So aside from where is RM2.6 billion, I would always like to ask 'awak kat mana, awak awak kat mana," said Rafizi in the Facebook posting.

After delaying the explanation for almost six weeks, Najib finally despatched Zahid to explain the matter.

However, the brief three-minute statement merely parroted the government's previous claim that the massive deposits is a "donation", raising the ire of the opposition.

Najib has insisted the money is a political donation from the middle east and has denied any wrongdoing.
