An Umno delegate has threatened to "whack" party deputy president Muhyiddin Yassin if he doesn't stop speaking out against Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and 1MDB.

"Please deputy president, when you step out of this hall, no more road shows!

"Don't talk about the president or 1MDB. Talk about strengthening Umno and how we can win the 14th general election.

"If you continue to balun (whack) we will balun you 10 times back," Penang Umno delegate Musa Sheikh Fadzir said.

He said this was part of his advice to Muhyiddin so that the party can move on from the latter's spat with Najib.

He also urged former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad to stop attacking Najib.

"We beg you Tun, stop your road show, stop saying bad things about Umno.

"Sit quietly, even if you are frustrated, don't say a thing.

"We love you Tun, we don't want to speak ill of you. If a mosquito bit you, we would destroy it, but you must be fair, Tun, " Musa said.

He added that there were things Mahathir did that the party did not agree with either, but it did not attack him.

As for the RM2.6 billion donation, the Penangite said it wasn't that big an issue.

"The old president's way was their way, the new president's way is his way. Where he wants to put (the money) is up to him," Musa said.
