The "German F&B Festival" at a mall in Klang may proceed as scheduled because organisers had obtained permission from the Klang Municipal Council (MPK), said Selangor senior exco member Teng Chang Khim.
MPK had greenlit the event on Sept 28, but the official correspondence has been delayed to seek clarity from the police on their position.
However, Teng stressed that the police could not ban a lawful commercial event.
