The digital transformation that many businesses are undergoing is supposed to deliver real results that are needed to survive and ultimately, thrive, in the competitive business world. However, it has become abundantly clear that there exists a gap between the expectations created by business leaders’ digital vision and the reality of changing how businesses deliver optimal values to customers. For any businesses to deliver tangible results from digital transformation initiative, keeping the information flowing is vital especially when most of us are working from home due to the ongoing pandemic.

Thus, introducing smart automation collaborative tools – an avenue that supports businesses’ operational activities while gaining improved business results that can be translated into RM and cents either in terms of savings or gains. During the pandemic, many businesses in Malaysia have recognized the situation of remote working and have acknowledged it as a mandatory practice. While this situation presented challenges to most businesses, it also presents itself as an opportunity for some to do things differently. Gokudos, one of the subsidiaries under 6Biz’s Group, co-founded by Dato’ Vimmy, is the first homegrown startup that seeks to automate operational processes to a variety of invigorating SMEs.

“We make things simple, efficient and integrated. We prioritize operational efficiency and understand what our users want before we start our actual development. We have spent a whole year on R&D with MIMOS, pilot test with real users and constantly getting feedback at every stage of our development.” said Dato’ Vimmy Yap.

With data at the core of the company, GoKudos provides a 360 visibility for document and task management and AI Debt collector in a way that catalyses growth and development for businesses. Though many businesses flock to generic collaborative tools, very few can achieve the desired results. Instead, such tools are viewed as a burden to adopt and are counterproductive. At GoKudos, the team has done it differently where the focus is on real business problems and provide guidance for users to adopt integrated communication and collaborative tools. During the pandemic season, GoKudos aims to help the workforce working from home to collaborate with the platform. It has proven to save up to 8% time on document searching, 25% time on follow up with team & client, 5% time on payment collection and 12% time on internal communications.

“Businesses has to solve customers and clients' genuine issues. Loyalty is built upon constant improvement and good support. This philosophy made GuKudos a sustainable business today. In line with the target of MyDIGITAL, GoKudos envision to uplift 30% in productivity among the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) particularly in leveraging digital technology to improve workflow efficiency and productivity to achieve higher digital maturity level.” said Aiman Kallahan, acting CEO of 6Biz Group.
