St. John’s International School’s students have once again shown their astounding talents and skills at the Phoenix Annual Concert 2025. This concert was held on 21st November, Friday at SJK (C) Chung Kwo Hall. The eventful evening brought together teachers, parents, friends and the school community to commemorate the students’ talent and creativity.
At exactly 5:00 PM, the noisy hall abruptly became quiet when the lights suddenly went out. A few seconds later, upbeat and funky music started playing as the opening performance started.

For this year, the theme of the concert is ‘ICONS - Tunes Through the Decades’. Throughout the concert, the students have marvellously played tribute to iconic songs and artists, whether locally or internationally, from this decade. However, the students had the artistic freedom to put their own twists on the songs, to showcase their creativity.

As the concert continued, the crowd kept cheering for the performers. There were dance performances, band performances, singing performances and even choir performances. Audiences were captivated by the exceptional talent displayed by everyone.
The concert marked its end at 7:00 PM with the final curtain call. The students went up on stage to celebrate their teamwork and hard work for the last time before the day ended. Audiences gave a huge applause to the students for their dazzling and captivating performances. The parents looked so proud while watching their children shine brightly on the stage.

A breath of relief appeared on everyone’s faces, especially the students. Weeks of constant training and hard work finally paid off. Even the teachers, staff and volunteer parents who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the concert were satisfied with how everything turned out.
