Yayasan Amal Maaedicare and CareClinics Healthcare Services Sdn Bhd have formalised a collaborative agreement to strengthen access to cardiac and diagnostic medical procedures through a structured patient referral partnership.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Parathythasan Rajaandra, Head of Operations of Yayasan Amal Maaedicare, and Datuk Dr. Thirunavukarasu Rajoo, Chief Executive Officer of CareClinics Healthcare Services Sdn Bhd, at Wisma MAA-Medicare, Kuala Lumpur.
Under the agreement, CareClinics will refer patients to Maaedicare Cardiac Diagnostic Centre for medical procedures when required. The collaboration covers a range of cardiac diagnostic services, including Electrocardiography (ECG), Echocardiography (Echo), Exercise Stress Test, Holter Monitoring, Calcium Scoring and CT Coronary Angiogram, as well as selected diagnostic imaging procedures such as Ultrasound, Xray and CT scans.

The agreement establishes a structured referral and appointment process between both organisations, with Maaedicare providing formal medical reports prepared by the appropriate medical consultants following procedures. Patient information exchanged for medical care will be handled in accordance with patient consent, confidentiality requirements and applicable data protection laws.
The collaboration reflects the shared commitment of both organisations to strengthen coordination between primary healthcare services and diagnostic facilities. Through the partnership, patients referred by CareClinics will have access to relevant cardiac and diagnostic procedures at Maaedicare, supported by a structured referral and appointment process to facilitate continuity and coordination of care.
