Leon Lim, Centre Director of CID Realtors Sunway Branch, shared that he has been in the industry for 16 years, with Low Tung as his mentor throughout. He shared that CID Realtors was founded around the year 2017, and as of July 2025, the firm is approaching its 8th anniversary.
“CID stands for Commercial, Industrial, Development — and that’s precisely where we focus. Our DNA is industrial and commercial real estate,” said Lim.
The company’s journey started with a laser-sharp focus on industrial properties, and that remains their key strength today. From factory lots to large industrial land, CID Realtors has been instrumental in bridging supply and demand for Malaysia’s booming manufacturing and logistics sectors.
Specialisation That Sets Them Apart

“We are known in the industry as the go-to industrial agency. When people mention CID, they already know we’re specialists in industrial property,” said Lim.
Their services range from sales, rentals, and project marketing for under-construction developments to custom property matchmaking based on power supply, space requirements, and land use needs. Though they also handle residential listings, their primary expertise lies in the commercial-industrial segment.
It is no wonder that CID Realtors' recent accolades are no coincidence.
In 2024, the company won the Industrial Agency of the Year under the Selangor Agency Awards. Soon after, they were honoured at the 2025 Golden Bull Awards, one of Malaysia’s most respected SME awards. They won the Outstanding Bull Award.
While speaking about their motivation to participate in the Golden Bull Awards, Low, Founding Director, quipped humourously, "The bull is very nice!":

From a team of just a few to over 700 negotiators across 10 offices nationwide, CID’s growth has been exponential. But it’s not just about numbers.
“We have weekly Zoom and face-to-face training, monthly group meetings, and mentorship programmes involving legal, banking, and industry professionals,” explains Low Tung.
The company also runs internal programmes such as the Million Dollar Programme and Six Star Programme to motivate and upskill its team. These structured efforts ensure that all negotiators operate ethically, professionally, and in line with regulatory expectations.
A Voice for Reform in the Industry
Both founders are passionate about improving standards in Malaysia’s real estate industry, which they believe is still lagging in regulation and professionalism.
“Many consumers don’t know how to differentiate between a legitimate agency and one that’s not. The Act governing our profession is from 1981. It’s outdated. We need reform,” said Low.
He calls for Malaysia’s real estate industry to move from the Ministry of Finance to a more relevant ministry and suggests separating the current joint act governing valuers, appraisers, estate agents, and property managers.
“We’re nowhere near Singapore’s professionalism. We need enforcement, better education, and updated legislation,” he added.
Looking Ahead: Bigger Projects, Bigger Impact
While CID Realtors continues to dominate industrial real estate, Low Tung is now exploring opportunities in real estate investment, holdings, and development — indicating a bold new chapter for the company.
