Dear Dr Chua Soi Lek,

There is a lot of injustice in Malaysia. There has been much innocent blood shed with no true justice in sight for the people. Life has become cheap in Malaysia. A woman blown to bits, a young man dead while in police custody the day before his wedding and a young teenager shot to death by police.    

Crime is high and there is a sense of fear. There is a feeling of frustration and helplessness, even amidst all the hype about a ‘1Malaysia’. There is always the threat of a ‘May 13' hanging over our heads and a certain political party who will never let that ghost die nor will they put it behind them as a dark day in Malaysian history. I, therefore, salute your stand against the Gertak ‘Melayu Bangkit’ rally last week.  

 

There is also a  case before us in the courts which is dragging the entire judiciary into disrepute and making a sham of our judiciary before the international stage. Which investor will dare come in when simple protocol of providing the defence with the complaint’s report and list of witnesses is denied?  

There is no doubt in the minds of many Malaysians that this is a sham trial and the reason they wish to put the opposition leader in jail is purely political. You know it and we all know it.

 

I charge that all politicians and leaders in the federal government are guilty and have blood on their hands. Whether they be from Umno, MCA or MIC, they are guilty by association.

How can anyone with an ounce of conscience not separate themselves from the current government and leadership when it is clear that there is such injustice that would make our beloved Tunku Abdul Rahman turn in his grave?  

As a Chinese Malaysian, I urge you as president of MCA to listen to your conscience and to do the right thing. Leave the Barisan Nasional as a matter of principal. There is much that is wrong and it has reach a stage of terminal cancer.  

There is no turning back for a party that blatantly abuses public funds openly and pockets a ridiculous commission for the purchase of submarines and planes used for the defence of our sovereign nation.  

Worst of all, an innocent Mongolian girl was murdered as a result of that deal and the true murderer with a motive has not been found.  

 

The only way for MCA is disassociation. The Malaysian people will not hold it against you if you decide to take the MCA out of the coalition. It is time to stand up for what is right for a change and lead the ethnic Chinese people out of their Egypt.  

Will you be that man with nerves of steel and tenacity to do what is right? This will help stop the thousands of Chinese leaving our shores annually.
