Former MCA chief Ong Tee Keat is letting go of his frustration . Nothing else.

What brought him down is not PKFZ, it was his indifference and arrogance towards MCA chief Chua Soi Lek, who was kept away from any important positions and thereby made irrelevant and redundant. So sympathy is what brought Chua back into power.

 

PKFZ was not the main issue that brought down MCA in the last general election. Ong, as his predecessors, failed his community by not speaking out on BN excesses (Umno, really) and unfairness towards the Chinese people, such as treating non-Malays as second-class citizens. So you pay the price.

 

Clearly, Ong was a stooge to Umno leaders, had no backbone to stand for his community and no guts to wrestle the issue. If it is sympathy Ong is yearning, he better go fly kites. It is too late. You had your chance and you had to screw it up.

 

So don't blame others, don't blame circumstances. PKFZ is not your credit either. The credit should really go to DAP for pressuring you into revealing and exposing these wrongdoings.
