If not anti-Jew, why ban travel to Israel

I refer to The Star (Dec 14) news report where Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad claims Muslims are not anti-Jew.
He had declared on Sept 29, 2001 that Malaysia is an Islamic state. Now, Malaysian passports allow its citizens to travel to all countries except Israel. While I am not anti-Jew, my passport from an Islamic country is anti-Israel where 'people of the book' live.
Now if this anti-Israel stand is in protest for 'forcibly expropriating Arab land', why is there no ban on travel to China that has forcibly expropriated Tibetan land?
