Virulent hatred for the Jews
This is written in response to The men who make Iraq war possible .
For Alijah Gordon and her cohorts, here are some cold hard facts on the Jews and Israel. on Jerusalem, the Jewish Bible mentions Jerusalem 669 times and Zion 154 times, in the Christian Bible, Jerusalem is mentioned 154 times and Zion seven times, in the Koran no number of times. Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. King David founded Jerusalem, Jews pray facing Jerusalem, Muslims pray with their backs towards Jerusalem.
The current history book used by form four students states that Jesus Christ was born in Palestine. Which all Christians know otherwise? Judaism preceded Christianity by 1,500 years and Islam by 2,000 years, which means it is 3,800 years of Jewish history.
The Arabs of Israel only came to the land in 632 AD, with the Muslim invasion. only after the 1967 war did Arab refugees in Israel start identifying themselves as part of Palestine, Yasser Arafat was born in Cairo. Romans first applied the word Palaestina to Judea (southern portion of what is now called the West Bank) in an attempt to minimise Jewish identification with the land of Israel by referencing the Jews' former enemies, the Philistines.
Every Muslim government keeps the issue of Palestine as a hot topic to rile the masses. They are taught to hate the Jews from the early days of their religious education. The common hatred of the Jewish state, Israel, helps keep them in power and distracts the populace from domestic issues.
Here in Malaysia there is virulent hatred for the Jews. This is a product of systematic indoctrination of young minds, which could turn out to be destructive for this country in the future.
The Muslims say that the US is anti-Islam. The US is the most tolerant nation on earth compared to all Muslim countries. They have more diverse and ethnic cultures in the US than anywhere else on earth. Malaysia always brags about its multi-racial pluralism, in reality the other races are not treated as equals, which is common in Muslim countries.
There are 3,000 mosques in the US, other religious houses of worship are not allowed into Saudi Arabia. Muslims always claim to be tolerant. Whenever the truth is shown or told they pretend not to see it or go into the denial syndrome stage.
To Ahmad Azam Abdul Rahman, Alijah Gordon and Hishamuddin Ubaidulla, you are Malaysians first and foremost. Why don't you take up the cudgels on why the Iban Bible has been banned in Malaysia. Maybe you can show a bit of 'tolerance' for your fellow Malaysians.
There are enough Arabs in the this world causing the most amount of problems, lest we forget, it was because of them that all Muslims, including the deputy prime minister, are now bearing the brunt of scrutiny by the various international law enforcement agencies, by being profiled and finger printed?
