The recent announcement by MIC to drop S Subramaniam from the list of candidate is a golden opportunity for Keadilan to take on the BN and all opposition should cooperate. Keadilan should contest all seats where MIC contest as they have the best chance of winning.

In every constituency MIC contest, Indians make up less than 30 percent of the constituency. Given that the Indian vote may not necessarily go to MIC in the first place, the dropping of S Subramaniam will split the Indian vote and guarantees that Keadilan chance of winning is very high in each constituency. Remember Lunas and how Samy Vellu promised that if he did not win he would stay in Lunas? The same can be repeated in each constituency.

It is clear that the PM is letting Samy Vellu hang himself if he wants to in this election. If Samy Vellu cannot win big, then it's the beginning of the end for him. This is the perfect opportunity to send Samy Vellu into retirement. This should be the opposition's rallying cry. After Dr M., Samy Vellu is probably the most hated minister in this country. It's a golden opportunity for Keadilan to regain its footing and move away from their Anwar only image.
