A woman accused of physically abusing her Indonesian maid is presently incarcerating in jail after having been denied bail twice but a man accused of raping his Indonesian maid is free on bail because of a clot in his brain.

The woman accused of physical assault is also a mother who has to breast feed her seven-month old baby. This was ignored by the court which said the baby could be taken into prison for breast feeding.

Why are women treated as inferior? If the child can be brought to the mother for breast feeding can't medical care be provided to an accused rapist in prison?

Why the different bail standards? Was it because of political or some other influential clout that allowed an accused rapist to get bail?

If a suspected rapist can be free on bail but a mother denied bail on no valid grounds then there is something definitely wrong with our system.

Why do we have different sets of bail rules for different people? I urge the authorities to immediately grant bail to the woman accused of abusing her maid.
