I think malaysiakini did all of us a favour with their April Fool's prank. Many were hoping that finally there was a light at the end of the dark and long tunnel of corruption. But unfortunately, the light was that of an oncoming train!

Of course malaysiakini also did themselves a favour with some extra subscriptions via their guerrilla marketing tactic.

How should the AG's office react? If they have records of which VIPs aides or associates called up, that would provide another indication of that person's guilt.

However, one should not hold one's breath. I watched a newsclip on ChannelNewsAsia sometime in the past one year when one defence lawyer for Anwar Ibrahim accused the AG's office of "fabricating evidence".

In most countries, that lawyer would be prosecuted or the AG would resign but in Bolehland, I don't believe any of these two things have happened.
