It is obvious to most - if not all - that Koh has fumbled in Penang during his tenure at the helm. And therefore it is time for him to be withdrawn.

But in Bolehland, such removing is something just not done. In Bolehland, those who perform poorly or are not up to the mark are instead removed by promotion.

And that was what was done for Koh. The problem is that Gerakan does not have an immediate replacement for him and therefore the need to delay till 2007 or 2008.

By then wonder boy Si Pin may just be ready to take over the tarnished 'pearl' and give it the polishing it needs so very badly. Mark my words.
