LETTER | I wish to congratulate the inspector-general of police Mohamad Fuzi Harun over the quick action by the police to bring normalcy to the vicinity of the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman temple in USJ, Selangor.
I also welcome the assurance by the nation's top policeman that a thorough investigation will be conducted and that perpetrators of the affray would be brought to justice for the sake of Malaysians at large.
The Malaysian Indian community appreciates the presence of the police at the temple vicinity as this ensures law and order are followed by all parties in the temple dispute.
The police force has exhibited the highest level of professionalism in handling the issue and this is much appreciated by the Malaysian Indian community and Malaysians generally.
Once again, my sincere gratitude to the police and the inspector-general for the quick action in curbing any form of violence arising from the matter.
