I wish to highlight the matter of foreigners running their own businesses right here in our own backyard. I'm from Kampung Melayu Subang and the locals are not happy with these businesses run and owned by foreigners.

The priority should be given to locals. In Kampung Melayu Subang and Sungai Buloh we can see that there are a lot of businesses run and owned by Bangladeshis and Indonesians. I doubt they could have obtained a business licence, let alone the municipal council licence.

Do they pay the tax as we locals do? Or are their businesses run illegally? Don’t the municipal councils know better? Or are they simply ‘closing one eye’?

Most of these shops and businesses can be seen clearly with the naked eye unless we are blind or pretend to be blind.

This issue has been publicised a few times before and I'm curious as to why no action has been taken by the authorities. Is it because they want it for their own interests?

The authorities should look into this matter seriously as the locals are being edged out with all the factories and businesses being ‘conquered’ by the foreigners.
