Firstly, I'd like to repeat what PAS has been proclaiming all this while - that a jihad should be called against the US government and those who are directly responsible for attacking Afghanistan.

Why do I say that? Because from my observation, the majority of true Muslim clerics of the world have either agreed to the call for jihad , or remain unopposed to it. And they include illustrious clerics such as Yusuf Qardhawi and the clerics at Al-Azhar University. In Islam, the voice of the majority of the Muslim clerics are accepted as an Islamic source of law, and thus must be obeyed.

To those Muslims who dare to go against the opinion of the majority, where do you think you stand in the eyes of god? Do you really think that your opinions are better than all those clerics? I don't even have to mention the fact that Osama bin Laden has not been declared guilty in a court of law. The fact that ulamas from all over the world support jihad should already be enough to make all those so-called 'Muslims' to think twice about their stand in supporting America.

I am a Muslim, and thus no matter how much knowledge I've acquired, I will always know my place in religious matters, and leave the decision-making on matters like jihad to the real experts in Islamic law. And I will never listen to those who act like they know what's best for Islam. They're like babies telling adults how to read. What's worse, those babies are making other babies follow their example!

For the umpteenth time, jihad is not a "holy war". Jihad means to struggle or to strive to achieve something. In the case of Afghanistan, the struggle includes, although not limited to, defending Afghanistan against the American military and intelligence apparatus.
