“Until now, no one has sued PAS Youth or hauled us to court over the many exposes that have been made.

“Instead, the Election Commission (EC) and National Registration Department (NRD) have only been replying through the media denying PAS Youth’s (allegations),” he added.

He said DPPM was vindicated that a few days after exposing the issue of duplicate names, unidentified records and other irregularities, when 50,000 names were removed from the electoral roll.

“This is an unprecedented move, when in fact voter’s names can only be removed when there is an objection, and upon receipt of the objection and the accompanying fee,” he said.

NONE Nasrudin said DPPM only made iits move after rigorous evaluation based on facts, proof and documents, to avoid slander or spreading false news.

“Such is the discipline we are forced to take, as every statement and disclosure will be scrutinised by our political foes who will be quick to take us to court if it were false or slander,” he said.

He added that to date, DPPM through its democratic restoration bureau and rakyat’s mobilisation chaired by Suhaizan Kaiat ( left ) and his deputy Mohd Adram Moses, many shortcomings and irregularities in the democratic electoral process have been brought to light.

Nasrudin said the case this week with the 240 foreigners that the government says were merely attending a business course, shows that the police have also been hit by this “denial syndrome”.
