Bung Moktar Radin (BN-Kinabatangan,

) and Abdul Ghapur Salleh (BN-Kalabakan) also questioned the government's failure in identifying the intruders as terrorists, until they started attacking police officers in Lahad Datu.
During Question Time in the Dewan Rakyat today, Bung Moktar said the people of Sabah want to know why it had taken the government so long to act.
He went on to ask: "Is there a third party involved?"
Interjected Ghapur: "If someone enters my house, I will not negotiate with that person. I will shoot. Why did we wait to negotiate?"
However, Deputy Home Minister Wan Junaidi Wan Jaafar

said the people must be "thankful" that the incursion was solved "within three months".
"Malaya had an emergency for 10 years, Sarawak had an Emergency for 12 years, but in Sabah, it only lasted for three months, so we must be thankful...," he said.
He explained that the government did not think of the intruders as having dangerous motives until they started attacking police officers.
However, he declined to answer Bung Moktar’s question.
"The police are still investigating the case, so I do not wish to disclose any information about other parties that are involved," he said.
