PARLIAMENT Controversial BN lawmaker Bung Moktar Radin today said that the Sultan Muhammad IV stadium in Kota Bharu was flooded "for the first time in hundreds of years" because PAS had prayed for Umno's "destruction" in it some time ago.
"At the same stadium, you prayed for Umno's destruction, and this stadium was never flooded for hundreds of years.
“You prayed for the destruction among Muslims, and in return, the flood hit the stadium," the Kinabatangan MP said in his debate on the Agong's address in Parliament today.
The stadium, built in the late 1960s, hosts many sporting events and is known as the home ground for the Kelantan football team.
He also described the floods as a test from Allah adding the people of Kelantan would still be suffering if it was not for the BN government.
"The BN government is the one that is accussed of being cruel and stealing people's wealth but when the floods came, the Kelantan Menteri Besar said that he cannot do anything as he can't afford it," he said.
"If it weren't for us (BN), the people of Kelantan would have suffered worse," he added.
