DAP asks Najib to table 11th M'sia Plan by April
DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang today asked Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to table the 11th Malaysia Plan at least a month before Parliament reconvenes.
DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang today asked Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to table the 11th Malaysia Plan at least a month before Parliament reconvenes.
"I call upon the PM to unveil the plan earlier so that we can have a full month of national debate before we start debating it in Parliament," Lim told a forum in Shah Alam.
Lim said that the plan should be unveiled by Najib in mid-April at the latest, to allow ample time to discuss it before the Lower House reconvenes on May 18.
Meanwhile, Lim also said that the current state of affairs in the country has left the country floundering.
"We all have lost our sense of direction, It is a sign of the many troubles we are facing," he added.
He was addressing a forum on inequality and the plight of the Indian community in Malaysia, organised by Klang MP Charles Santiago and Seri Andalas assemblyperson Dr Xavier Jeyakumar today.
