Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak arrived in Bandar Seri Begawan early today for the 19th Annual Leaders' Consultation with the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah.
Najib and his wife Rosmah Mansor flew in to the Brunei International Airport about 12.15am and were greeted by Brunei Education Minister Dr Awang Abu Bakar Apong.
Also present at the airport to welcome Najib and Rosmah was Malaysia's High Commissioner to Brunei, Awang Sahak Awang Salleh.
Najib is scheduled to attend the annual consultation with Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah tomorrow at Istana Nurul Iman. The two leaders are expected to discuss various regional and global issues.
The annual talks will be held after Najib has an audience with the sultan.
The two leaders will also witness the signing of documents between the two countries.
Najib and his delegation are scheduled to attend a luncheon hosted by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah.
The Brunei Darussalam-Malaysia Annual Leaders' Consultation is convened alternately between the two countries.
Malaysia hosted the 18th annual talks in Putrajaya on Nov 3 last year.
