If you have yet to secure tickets to malaysiakini 's biggest event in five years, happening on Nov 27, then you better start to do so as more than 400 seats have been filled with just nine days to go.
Here is what can be expected on the night at Ampang's Hotel Flamingo during the buffet-styled dinner starting at 7pm:
A host of people with diverse opinions who are in-tune with the country's political and social landscape, politicians from the government and opposition parties, state assemblypersons, bloggers, a couple of thespians and of course, the gang of media people.
Those confirmed coming have been forewarned of Malaysia's very own Instant Cafe Theatre (ICT) unleashing two of its ' Weapons of Mass Delirium ' in a 40-minute performance that promises experienced, quality and outright outrageous satirical comedy.
Jo Kukathas and Patrick Teoh, who are among the country's biggest names in the arts, will perform at the dinner for "Nothing". They are expected to make their audiences gasp for air in between eye-watering laughter.
Having created some of ICT's most beloved characters, Kukathas' geriatric deputy minister (

Who's coming?
Among those who have confirmed attendance are MCA Subang Jaya's state rep Lee Hwa Beng, Parti Socialis Malaysia sec-gen and social activist S Arutchelvan, political figures from DAP, PAS, Parti Keadilan Rakyat and international human rights group Amnesty International Malaysia.
The night also acts as a forum for the founders and associates at malaysiakini to extend their thanks and appreciation to all who have lent a hand in the news portal's five-year journey.
"That we have survived this far is remarkable. But we have not just survived - we have, in our own little ways, contributed to much needed reforms in Malaysia.
"Clearly, we couldn't have done it without you - the subscribers and supporters. This anniversary bash is for us in
malaysiakini
to personally thank you for the support you have given us," says editor-in-chief and co-founder Steven Gan.
One way Gan, CEO Premesh Chandran and the staff at malaysiakini are saying a big thank you is to hand out two return AirAsia tickets to Bintulu and Surabaya respectively to lucky draw winners during the evening.
