Push and shove as group protests PM's 'in principle' nod for TPPA
There was pushing and shoving between protesters and the police today, when opponents of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) were barred from marching up to the gates of Parliament.
About 100 protesters marched from the Tugu Negara (National Monument), about 200 metres away, this morning to protest the agreement which they say will “sell the country” and raise cost of healthcare.
