Narrowly escaping a ban that could see their business go up in smoke, the vaping community had created a ‘special juice’ to show its unhappiness with Health Minister Dr S Subramaniam.
Malaysian Vape Business Council secretary Ridhwan Rosli, however, clarified that the ‘Uncle Maniam’ flavoured vape liquid did not really exist.
Contacted by Malaysiakini , Ridhwan said a photograph of the vape juice that had gone viral on Facebook was merely a trolling tactic.
“No such thing. That was just a troll.
“The vaping community was unhappy with the minister’s decision and that was why they trolled (him),” said Ridhwan, who is also a member of the Youth Parliament.
He said the troll was done in retaliation to the Health Ministry’s recent crackdown on vape sellers and seizure of vape liquids that contained nicotine.
