IGP: No apology or resignation over Aminulrasyid's death

Inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar has refused to apologise or resign after the Shah Alam High Court found him guilty of public misfeasance in the death of 14-year-old shooting victim Aminulrasyid Amzah.

"Why would I want to apologise? I will not apologise," he said curtly when asked if he would apologise to Aminulrasyid's family.

When asked to comment on Lawyers for Liberty’s Eric Paulsen's call for him to resign, the top cop replied: "He's not my tauke ."
