Veteran Actor Abdul Aziz Singah, 75, died of cancer at his residence in Bandar Putra Permai, Seri Kembangan, near Kuala Lumpur last night.

His son, Ruzaimei Abdul Aziz, popularly known as ‘Bob Singah’, when contacted by Bernama, said his father’s remains would be buried today at the Kampung Bongek Cemetery in Rembau, Negri Sembilan, before the zohor prayer.

Abdul Aziz was popular in the 1980s and had acted in several films and dramas, like ‘PJ Holding’, ‘Sate’, ‘Maria Mariana’ and ‘Impian’.

He had also served as president of Persatuan Seniman Malaysia, a body advocating the rights of artistes.
