Inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar said he would have no qualms about allowing PKR to meet the Sarawak Criminal Investigation Department chief regarding the murder of native customary land rights activist Bill Kayong.

However, he turned down the party’s request to meet the investigation team probing the murder, saying it was unnecessary.

“Why is there a need for her (PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar) or anybody to meet the team itself?
