PKR lawmaker Rafizi Ramli believes his efforts to help people who are victimised for suspected Islamic State links may be used against him.

He said this may be used to prove that he too has links with the militant group.

"The National Oversight and Whistleblowers (NOW) and I take up the cases of people who have been victimised under the guise of IS," Rafizi told Malaysiakini when met in Kuala Lumpur last night.
