Attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali and his office see a boost of about RM3 million in the 2017 federal budget, despite the Attorney-General’s Chambers suffering a budget cut.
This will be to pay the salary of 57 people in Apandi’s office.
According to the federal estimated expenditure report, the allocation for the item ‘AG’s services’ rose from RM6.17 million to RM9.19 million.
