More than RM5 million in cash and gold bars have been seized in the case related to the arrest of a ministry secretary-general, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission sources said.
The secretary-general and his two sons were slapped with a seven-day remand at the Putrajaya Court today.
MACC seized eight kilogrammes of gold worth about RM1.6 million from a safety deposit box at a bank, a MACC source said.
