PAS will decide if it will continue political co-operation with PKR at its annual general assembly, the muktamar, vice-president Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said.

"If the muktamar decides we have to quit co-operation with PKR then we must accept this fact and follow this decision, but if it decides the ties remain, then we will remain," he told reporters.

"However, the division of seats will have to be renegotiated given new political developments in the country, if the pact is to go on," Amar was reported by Bernama as saying on the sidelines of the Kelantan state assembly opening ceremony today.

The muktamar will take place from April 27 to May 1 in Alor Setar.

Yesterday, Permatang Pauh PAS unanimously agreed to cut ties with PKR, alleging that PKR was trying to entice PAS members to leave by dangling government posts.

PKR deputy president Azmin Ali said this does not affect the pact with PAS.

PKR is the only Pakatan Harapan party to have ties with PAS.
