Federal Territories Minister Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said he is prepared to face the defamation suit from PKR's Subang MP R Sivarasa.

"I'll wait for his suit, just do it, what can I do?... We'll fight it," he told journalists after a breaking of fast event at Masjid Ar-Rahah in Kerinchi, Kuala Lumpur, today.

Earlier today, Sivarasa said he had initiated a defamation suit against Tengku Adnan.

This was over Tengku Adnan's condemnation of Sivarasa for speaking at Masjid An-Nur Kampung Melayu Subang.

Tengku Adnan's attacks came amid Sivarasa facing criticism from the Selangor sultan for speaking at the mosque.

Sivarasa denied making a political speech at the mosque, stating that he had only conveyed Ramadan greetings when invited to speak.

He also accused Tengku Adnan of making a malicious attack against him.

On Tuesday, Sivarasa, through law firm Daim & Gamany, field the defamation suit and a letter of demand would be sent to Tengku Adnan soon.
