Bank Negara Malaysia purportedly fined 1MDB and other related entities a sum of RM115.8 million for non-compliance with the Financial Services Act.

Pakatan Harapan president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail disclosed this, citing a letter received yesterday from the central bank's legal adviser.

The central bank was responding to a memorandum Pakatan Harapan MPs had sent to Bank Negara urging it to reopen its investigation into the 1MDB scandal.
